Wow, I never knew how difficult it would be to keep the house ready to show in about an hours notice. My realtor is great about giving a couple of hours notice before a showing, but with a sleeping husband and an almost 3 year old in the house, it is like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. I am happy to report we have made it out in time with a clean house, but I am starting to feel like a drill sergeant. Both Bella and Daniel are doing a great job at trying to stay neat, but we all have our moments.
I hope that we can keep up with some of the cleanliness even after the move, just not this extreme. What is extreme you might ask? Well absolutely nothing on any of the counters (Kitchen to bathrooms). Everything put away, yes every toy and piece of paper or biking whatever. Pretty much no trace of us left behind to distract the potential buyer.
Boy am I happy we have a trip planned:-) I hope the place sells soon. It has been on the market for 10 days now. The pics came a couple of days later, so we have had about a good week of exposure. Here's to NMHRK. I want this house to sale within the next 3 weeks max. SO there it is a concrete goal to work towards. I will keep you posted on our trip to Cali and if we have found a new place.
