The only word that explains our day today is BUSY! The weather was better, but not at Bella's school in Ashland. I drove the 20 mile drive only to discover a full blown snow storm. So we turned around and came back home.
Daniel was home getting everything ready for a DUMP run. Bella and I joined him and we had to go to the dump twice. Boy does it feel good to have things cleaned up. I think that is the best part of a move...Cleaning stuff up.
My day continued with a "quick" trip to Costco, which was packed because today was the first day that we had a bit of a break in the weather. I returned home for Bella, who was napping with Daniel while I went to costco.
Bella and I went to pick up boxes and a new scrapbooking tool that I ordered (more on this later). And then we finished our grocery shopping at a great place called Fred Meyer (for you Californians).
My new scrapbooking Tool is a 'Basic Grey' sanding kit. For those of you who love Chipboard you know where I am going with this. It is a kit of different size files and sanders to get into all of the twists and turns of the chipboard. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but I can already tell that I am going to LOVE IT!!
4 DAYS TO THE OPEN HOUSE
I have painting touch ups and basic cleaning to do.
The carpets and the dog are being cleaned on Friday.
Soooo much to do soooo little time (a cliche, but so true).

They closed down our scrapbook store at the Empire Center!

Too bad. I really like it. I'm not sure if they were independent or a chain, but I'm gonna try to find another one of the same name. "Memories"

Too bad.. I am sorry. I think any kind of reatil is difficult, but when it is a hobby store it is much more difficult. They are dependent upon peoples extra income, which can change from month to month.
I haven't heard of that store as a chain, most chains are like Michael's and stuff like that.
Good luck finding another great "Mom and Pop" store.
When we come to visit I will help you look:-)
Miss you and I hope all is well.
